This rebrand is merely an exercise. There is no affiliation with Cabbage Patch Kids Inc.

In this redesign of Cabbage Patch kids, the goal was to soften the emphasis on the female characteristics placed on the type and in its brand. To create a gender neutral doll toy, I looked to utilize traditional both female and male characteristics.

It was inspired by the 80s soft aesthetic, of which Cabbage Patch Kids was created. The color pink was kept and not removed, merged with orange to give a fresh and nostalgic feel. The result was a gradient sans serif with elongated and thin ascenders and descenders.
